Year 6 Wales Residential Day 2
The fun continues for Year 6 who are away on their residential in Wales. Yesterday they got stuck into some outdoor adventures. They scaled new heights and enjoyed a touch of abseiling alongside scrambling where they had to work as a team to walk up steep terrain. Some children took a dip in the lake and some even took part in some conservation work! They planted over 200 hundred trees to give back to nature.
Kayden A - “Abseiling was challenging but once we got to have a practice down a small cliff we abseiled down a 40ft cliff edge. It was a thrilling experience.”
Brianna - “ We had to challenge ourselves to scramble over rocks of all shapes and sizes. Some parts were easy and some extremely hard. We helped each other to overcome our fears and worked together as a team.”
