TEACHING ASSISTANT VACANCY

Start Date: November 2026
36 hours per week – Term time only
Unqualified Scale 2 point 3- £26,238 (pro rata)
Qualified Scale 3 point 5 - £27,030 (pro rata)

We are looking to recruit teaching assistants to come and join our team of happy and highly motivated staff and pupils. These roles are to work as a 1to1 with children with special educational needs or in our school Nursery. Applicants should be enthusiastic, patient, flexible, hardworking, proactive and able to work with a variety of age groups and learning needs. GCSE or equivalent qualifications in English, maths and science are desirable and excellent spoken and written English would be an advantage. Candidates with a creative or sporting interest or background would be very welcomed.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a maths and English test and have a school based interview.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and medical questionnaire.
