Year 5 & 6 Basketball Competition

On Wednesday 17th of May, children from Years 5 and 6 took part in a Basketball competition at the Sportsdock at the University of East London. The competition was attended by 11 different schools from Newham. St Joachim’s showed dominance in their group stage matches ultimately leading to participating in a semi-final which they won.

The final of the competition was back and forth throughout the whole game, and in turn they returned with a silver medal.
