Composting Champions

Our Student Council and Science Ambassadors have been busy becoming our Composting Champions. We are looking forward to starting a composting journey in school with their help. Our Key Stage 1 students will have the important job of putting their 'green' (food and vegetable) waste into new caddies which will then be transferred to our large composting hot bin. Our Composting Champions will be experts in ensuring the right ratio of waste and checking the temperature on the top. This is all part of our school's efforts to make more sustainable choices, linked to the Green Schools Project.
