Celebrating World Book Day at St Joachim’s

On Thursday 5th March, all classes were immersed in the pleasure of reading as St Joachim’s celebrated World Book Day. Dressed for the occasion, pupils enjoyed a range of activities and read alouds. KS1 came together in the morning for a dramatic read followed by sessions in the library.

After lunchtime, all pupils in the school had the opportunity to hear a story from a different teacher in the school. Then later on in the day, pupils from KS2 modelled and shared reading with a KS1 class.
