Brilliant Stem Scientists

Four of our Year 5 pupils had the opportunity to participate in the Our Lady of Grace Brilliant Stem Club Project that was led by the Science teachers of St Bonaventure's and St Angela's. The children had the opportunity to carry out various scientific experiments and investigations. They learnt how to observe and record their findings and interpret the results. They really enjoyed the experiment to find out how much energy food has where they had to heat food with a Bunsen burner and then measure the temperature and energy given off. The children thoroughly enjoyed going to these outstanding schools and having the chance to do these exciting experiments in the science labs.
