Paris Day Trip

On Wednesday 5th October 2022 60 children from years 4, 5 and 6 had the unique experience of the St Joachim's educational day visit to the capital city of Paris. It was an early 5:30am start but thanks to the new Elizabeth line, at Custom House, we were soon safely on the Eurostar to Paris.
We had a wonderful time walking through the streets of the city to see fabulous famous landmarks such as the Sacre Coeur, Elysee Palace and of course the magnificent Eiffel Tower. All the children enjoyed a spot of lunch at Flunch, at Beaubourg and spent wisely and happily at the gift shops for themselves, friends and family. And of course trying out their spoken French...tres bien!
Despite the thousands of steps we took and many modes of transport, all children behaved brilliantly and the beautiful weather was on our side. We all look forward to our next year's visit to the city again with more children from St Joachim’s.
