An exciting trip to Cambridge University!
This week, an exciting trip to Cambridge University was organised by an academic of the renowned university, as part of an ongoing partnership between our school and Cambridge.
During the visit, the pupils visited the Museum of Zoology where they learnt all about types of skeletons, and the genetic make-up of different species. After this, the children were treated to a delicious lunch in the very same halls that Stephen Hawking ate in, and then they were off for an interesting tour of Gonville and Gaius College, including visits to the library and the auditorium where they received a lecture on the purposes and potentials of University education. It was a fantastic day, and all the children left feeling very inspired and excited for the possibilities that further education can provide.
